Tyler King

Hi, I’m Tyler King and I run Golden King Exterior Services inspired by my trusty sidekick, my three-year-old golden retriever, Rosco. Exploring Whidbey Island together, walking neighborhoods, beaches, and backyards, gave me a real appreciation for the homes and properties here. That connection inspired me to start a business helping neighbors care for their homes and yards.

I have always loved working with my hands and tackling projects. Every day is about doing quality work while being part of this amazing island community. I treat every property like it is my own and enjoy every minute of it along the way.

Home Safety Inspections

As part of my commitment to helping seniors safely age in place, I offer a home safety inspection to catch small issues before they turn into bigger problems. I take a careful look at walkways, stairs, railings, gutters, roofs, and outdoor areas, keeping an eye out for fall risks, water damage, and general wear. After the inspection, I’ll walk you through what I see and share simple, easy-to-understand recommendations.

The inspection is a $50 flat fee. If you decide to move forward with any of the recommended services, that $50 will be applied toward your service total. No pressure—just helpful guidance and peace of mind.

    $100-$180 Most 1 story homes

    $180-$300 Larger homes or heavy debris

  • Roof Cleaning

    $250-$350 Light moss / smaller roofs

    $350-$500 Heavier buildup / larger roofs

  • Driveway & Walkway Clearing

    $50-$75 Small areas

    $75-$100 Larger walkways or driveways

  • Power Washing (patios, decks, siding, etc.)

    $75-$150 Small areas (patios, entryways)

    $150-$300 Larger areas (decks, siding, driveways)

  • Yard Maintenance (mowing, trimming, leaf cleanup, etc.)

    $100-$180 Light maintenance (mowing, trimming, leaf cleanup)

    $180-$300 Moderate Cleanup

    Heavier cleanups or haul-away services quoted separately

  • Small Handyman Jobs

    $45 per hour (basic repairs and odd jobs)
